Bergen filmklubb (Bergen Film Society) normally has screenings each Wednesday and Thursday at 21.00 during the spring and autumn seasons. Location: the brand-new Magnus Barfot cinema complex in Neumannsgate, Bergen city centre. Established in 1961, Bergen filmklubb is one of the oldest and largest film societies in Norway. |

Cinemateket USF is a 92-seat cinematheque that normally has screenings all year round on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 19.00 and 21.00. Cinemateket USF is situated at USF Verftet, Georgernes verft 12 at Nordnes in Bergen. Cinemateket USF is run by the foundation Stiftelsen Cinemateket i Bergen, established by Bergen filmklubb in 1992. Cinemateket USF is acting in formal cooperation with The Norwegian Film Institute (NFI). |
