The Norwegian Teacher Academy (NLA) has two schools in Bergen: NLA School of Education and Religion, which is located in Sandviken close to the city centre, and NLA College of Teacher Education, located in Breistein 13km north of Bergen city centre. The two NLA schools are founded on Christian values, but students are not required to have any religious affiliation, nor are they asked about their religious views.
